Pokemon is a foundation in fandom be you nerd or otaku, the long lasting franchise has a place in everyone’s heart and the fine Maids, Butlers and Midler’s of the Tenshi No Ai café threw a Picnic honoring it amazingly well.
With both the staff and guest dressed as iconic pokemon, poke-heroes and villains the entire event had you constantly spotting your favorites while enjoying the delicious food and entertainment provided. But of course it wouldn’t be pokemon without battles and the tournament had plenty of trainers vying for the top spot and the awesome prizes being given away. While certain portions went a bit confusingly it over all was a blast. Live performances, and a last few last minute purchases of the pokemon goods as well as a warm farewell from the staff finished a great evening leaving me excited for the next Tenshi No Ai event.
