My Nerd Toys Part 2: Juggernaut, Charizard, Darth Stewie, TMNT and more

Welcome to another segment of “My Nerd Toys”. Again, This all started from me realizing that people enjoy pictures of retro/ cool stuff so why not share it on my nerd blog? Ever week I will pick out about 5 items from my collection and give you a brief description, Almost like show and tell.

Pikachu and charizard. Pikachu was hanging with me at the Cosplay day event and charizard will be with me for the Pokemon Picnic on September 22nd since it is Fire vs Water themed.

Darth Stewie. #toys #starwars #familyguy #nerd #geek

Darth Stewie bobble head. I remember Bought this when the first family guy Star wars movie came out. It took me a while to realize that in the movie Darth Stewie does not show his face. Either way, I thought he was pretty cool.

The Juggernaut. #xmen #marvel #toys #nerd #geek mynerdblog.com

The mother f*cking Juggernaut. Need I say more? This toy is from 1991 so I’m sure he was passed off of the comic rather than the TV show. This is an offical toy but there are 2 weird things about him. The first is that he has small wheels on the bottom on his feet, not sure why. Second weird thing is the switch on his back that moves his right hand. He is either doing a uppercut or a hammer fist.

New segment of "My Nerd Toys" will go live later today on mynerdblog.com #toys #nerd #geek #tmnt #retro

Ninja turtles on skate boards, why not?

Tepig from the recent McDonald’s Pokemon toys. His tail lights up and thats about it. I still like him.

About Nelson

I was a nerd before being a nerd was cool. My parents was always busy with something so they kept me entertained with video games, TV, movies and magazines. I grew up on that and to this day I still love it. In high school I went though a stage were I tried to hide the things I liked to make new friends. It worked but I was disappointment in myself but then senior year I meet a guy named Rimmy. When I first saw him I thought that he was a total geek and a loser. I did not want to be seen with him cause I felt he would ruin my image. In photo class the teacher put us as partners and after talking with him for a while I realized that we had a lot in common. Long story short, Rimmy made me realize that it is ok to show what you like. The things that you love make you who you are and there is no shame in that. Thanks to Rimmy for giving me the idea for "My Nerd Blog". He moved to California and I lost contact with him but I hope he is doing well. My Nerd Blog is not about glorifying the nerd life style it is about showing what we love cause this is who we are, not who we want to be.
