There will be 2 more NYC Water Fights this Summer (Let the craziness begin)

June 2nd was the 2012 Water Fight and it was as crazy as you can imagine but me and most of my friends felt that more could be done. A lot of us was saying “I CAN’T WAIT FOR NEXT YEAR!”. Shortly after, I heard rumors of a second water fight being planned out for Summer 2012 but the date was never clear. I heard dates for early July, early and late August. After looking around on facebook I found out that there will be 2 events. On July 28 there will be a Water Fight event

The offical 2012 Water Fight II will take place on August 18.

How awesome is that? 2 Water Fights coming up. Both of them will take place at Central Park @ Great Lawn (New York City of course) from 2pm-5pm. I WILL be at both events and I highly recommended that you come prepared. Most likely the offical water fight will have lots more people then the one on July 28 but its still good fun. Bring your friends, family, even your kids. As we get close to the July 28 Water I will post some very handy tips on how to be prepared for this event. If you need movation to go to these 2 events check out this video from June’s event.

About Nelson

I was a nerd before being a nerd was cool. My parents was always busy with something so they kept me entertained with video games, TV, movies and magazines. I grew up on that and to this day I still love it. In high school I went though a stage were I tried to hide the things I liked to make new friends. It worked but I was disappointment in myself but then senior year I meet a guy named Rimmy. When I first saw him I thought that he was a total geek and a loser. I did not want to be seen with him cause I felt he would ruin my image. In photo class the teacher put us as partners and after talking with him for a while I realized that we had a lot in common. Long story short, Rimmy made me realize that it is ok to show what you like. The things that you love make you who you are and there is no shame in that. Thanks to Rimmy for giving me the idea for "My Nerd Blog". He moved to California and I lost contact with him but I hope he is doing well. My Nerd Blog is not about glorifying the nerd life style it is about showing what we love cause this is who we are, not who we want to be.
