Complete the tasks on this page to get 625 mb more. You can always delete the tweets/updates on your facebook/twitter if you don’t want to mess it up or you can use an alternate account for this.
3. Requirments: db acc, usb-stick/camera/iDevice/Android device, 2.5 GB of videos/photos

Put 2.5 GB of pictures and/or videos on something with storage on it (one of the above) and make sure you have the dropbox desktop application installed. Unplug your device (with the 2.5 GB of files on it) and plug it back in. Dropbox will detect pictures and videos on it and notify you that it can synchronize these automagically, allow dropbox to do that. When the first picture/video is uploaded you will get an instant 500 MB for free and after each 500 MB of uploaded media you will get 500 MB extra space in your dropbox totalling 3 GB of free space (Permanent). Just remove the pictures and videos and there is your free space.
Now you have 5.8 GB of free space in your dropbox

Extra space: 16GB
First you will need to make a virtual machine in virtualbox using the ubuntu iso you downloaded. When you boot the ubuntu cd (virtually) and you are on the first window of the installation press: Try ubuntu. If you VM (Virtual Machine) is up and running download the dropbox desktop application for ubuntu: http://goo.gl/zcqds. Go to: dropbox.com and make a new account using your own refferal link with a trash email adress like one from 10minutemail.net. Log in using the dropbox desktop application using the account you just created and you should get 500 mb. Stop the VM and repeat this procces 32 times (max.).
If you did all this you should have 21.8 GB space in your dropbox account, for free!
